The 2026 Dakar Rally has come to an end, and what a finish it was! Our friend and rider, Tiziano Internò, crossed the line in 8th place in the Originals by Motul (Malle Moto) category and 37th overall; a truly remarkable achievement by any measure.
His performance stands as a testament to grit, determination, and the purest spirit of adventure. Competing in the toughest category of the world's most demanding rally; solo, unaided, and self-supported, Tiziano reminded us all what the Dakar is truly about: courage, endurance, and passion.

Thank you for your unwavering faith in us, for pushing limits that few dare to approach, and for allowing us to be part of this historic moment. Together, we have etched our names into the story of one of the most legendary motorsport events on the planet.
Back to Where It All Began
The journey came full circle in Yanbu, where the race had begun two intense weeks earlier. That final climb to the podium was the culmination of months of relentless preparation, commitment, and maybe even a touch of madness.
It's almost hard to believe that this entire endeavor began with a simple meeting at Milan's EICMA Motorcycle Fair just a couple of months before the race; where a wild idea between Tiziano Internò and Westwind Moto quickly grew into one of the boldest collaborations of the year. Against the odds, under immense pressure, and with the clock ticking, two teams of dreamers came together to make the impossible happen.
(But that's a story for another day, and maybe we'll tell it soon…)
Tested by Dakar. Proven Beyond Doubt.
We're proud to report that our Westwind Moto luggage also reached the finish line; bruised, battered, but undefeated. It's the first ever motorcycle luggage to complete the Dakar Rally, a feat that marks a milestone not just for us but for the entire adventure motorcycling world.
This journey has pushed our products and our team to their limits. The lessons we've learned from the sands, rocks, and extremes of the desert will fuel our next generation of designs. Every kilometer Tiziano conquered carries insights that will shape better, stronger, and more reliable gear for riders everywhere; whether your adventure is a ride up the mountain behind your home or a ride around the globe.
