Westwind’s 2026 participation at the Salon du 2 Roues in Lyon has just wrapped up, and the verdict is simple: it was a great success. The French public reserved a warm and genuinely curious welcome for our brand, with strong interest across the entire product range we showcased at Hall 4, Stand 4B11
A Warm Welcome in Lyon
Over four intense days, our stand attracted a steady flow of visitors: adventure riders, commuters, off-road enthusiasts and travel dreamers all stopped by to discover our soft luggage systems and ask questions about real-world use. Many took the time to handle the products, test the openings, check the materials and imagine them on their own bikes, exactly the kind of hands-on curiosity we love to see.
We were particularly happy to meet several existing Westwind customers who came specifically to say hello, share their experiences, share stories of their recent travels and, in more than one case, bring friends along to “show them the bags I’ve been telling you about.” Those face-to-face conversations, filled with honest feedback and positive stories from the road, are priceless and incredibly motivating for our team.

Throughout the show, we heard recurring comments about the combination of robustness, practicality and clean design that sets Westwind apart. Riders highlighted details like smart attachment points, versatile capacity, and the balance between rugged construction and light weight as key reasons our gear caught their attention. This kind of feedback confirms that our choices in design and materials are resonating well beyond our home markets and are increasingly recognized across Europe’s most dynamic motorcycling scenes.
For us, events like the Salon du 2 Roues are not only an opportunity to present products, but also to listen, learn and collect ideas for the next generation of gear. Every question, suggestion and story shared at the stand will feed back into our ongoing work to develop even more reliable, intuitive and adventure-ready luggage solutions.
