Construction seems borderline bombproof, and the fit and finish was excellent. It took a few adjustments to get the support panel mounted to my liking, but once I found the correct width the rest of the installation was very simple.
The straps hold their tension well, and the velcro retainers keep everything very tidy. The dry bags can be a bit tricky to get in the pockets if they're very full, but after a few days on the road I was loading them with no issues. I appreciated all the additional straps and parts that were included -- which I ended up using with an older set of rackless bags to give them more support.
I tested the bags on a 6 day moto camping tour, in which we were hit by record rainfall 2 nights in a row. Not a drop of water made it in as far as I could tell, despite the heavy rain. I did have some concerns about whether the pockets themselves would dry quickly, but they did not seem to hold much water and appeared to be dry within a few hours after the rain ended.
Overall I'd definitely recommend these bags, my only gripe was that the ABS panel cracked during my trip. I saw shortly after that this was a known issue and had been addressed by Westwind. I contacted support and was shipped the updated panel within a few hours. I have not yet received this panel, but will update the review once I've had a chance to test it!

The entire system seems really great. I rode a 1000 mile trip last weekend with the trail pack/ duffel and the smaller bags in torrential rains and everything stayed dry and clean. Strapping points and straps were great!
The only flaw with my system thus far was the plastic brace that inserts into and under the saddle system…first time tightening all of the straps with the bags loaded and the brace snapped / cracked in half as I tightened them onto my Honda Africa Twin.

These bags are awesome. It fits great for all my gear. My camping stuff is all in the duffle. Clothes and food stored in the panniers and with the two additional 6ltr bags in the front there's enough space to carry even tools, first aid, powerbank etc with you. You will have no needs for more carry capacity.
The built quality is very good and the desert colour fits nice to my future concept of the bike.
For all the riders in the dirt or on the road. These are a good choice.

These bags are very well made. I like how well they secure to the bike, I did not feel uneasy about them at all during my 1,000 mi trip. I like that the side pannier bags are easy to pull in and out of the main harness, and the top bag that I use for my shelter is the perfect size.

I ordered the Ranger Wilds - Enduro 80 for a short road trip through the Balkans. My experience using them has been positive. The mounts for the RW-25L are very sturdy, the straps stay tight (I didn’t have to adjust them even once) even when we hit a bumpy dirt road. I had brought the RW D30 Duffle Bag with me but had it folded up under a backpack I had secured to the tail. What bothered me was that I used one of the two shoulder straps and had to tighten it every so often because it kept loosening due to the vibrations. I believe that if you replaced the shoulder strap’s adjustment buckle with a metal one with a spring, like the external tightening buckles from the RW-Base set (LHS & RHS), it would be impossible for it to loosen. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase—I would definitely buy them again and, of course, recommend them to others, which I’ve already done.

I am very satisfied with the product and how it fits on the west wind rack. All my gear will fit with no trouble for a 3 to 4 moto camp trip. I have not been able to get out moto camping yet with this pack system. It is fully loaded in the picture. Our fist trip comes in 13 days.

Westwind is just awesome. I ordered the Ranger Wild 80 set for my 17’ CRF Rally and was given the choice of a free gift. I chose their hydration pack which arrived within a week of ordering. When unwrapping I could tell, this gear is serious and extremely well made. Unfortunately, I am barrel chested and the pack only fit at the largest setting. Knowing this wouldn’t fit once the pads went on, I reached out to Westwind and they immediately sent out the extension kit for a what was a free gift! I was impressed. When the rackless system came it was more of the same. Immediate feeling of high quality. After some assembly the bags went right on easily. As you can see from the picture, they have great capacity without the bulk of pannier racks and bags. Initial quality is a 10 and they look so slick as well. All attachments and tie downs are placed to make operation quick and easy. I can also remove this from the bike when I get to camp in about 2 minutes and put back on in about 4. I love these bags and would recommend anyone contemplating the kangaroo brand to give these a try. The quality is just as good at nearly half the cost.

Por lo demás estoy encantado, son fáciles de montar y desmontar, en mi Kove encajan perfectamente.

Well made, certainly robust materials, excellent hardware (buckles/straps, etc). Comparable to more expensive brands such as Kriega, ADVworx in my opinion, owning & using gear from these brands as well.
Stays in place, doesn't touch my exhaust/silencer... so no melting/burning. I like the extra tie down points and compression straps.
The rack setup is trick and holds it's own as a quality item. Helps to keep the bag system off the exhaust/silencer. Additional grooves and slots make it easy to attach other branded tool/accessory bags (Kriega).
Quality gear, very happy I purchased it.

Ich habe die KTM 390 Adv R als kleines Zweitmotorrad zu meiner BMW R 1300 GS gekauft. Als Gepäcklösung habe ich das Ranger Wilds - Enduro 80 für die KTM gewählt. Es ist dank der Videos einfach zu monieren und funktioniert tadellos. Es ist maximal praktikabel, schnell montiert und angepasst. Es ist absolut wasserdicht und robust. Die Möglichkeit eine Tasche auch als Rucksack zu verwenden ist cool. Die Lieferung war schnell (einige Tage nach Deutschland). Ein defektes Teil wurde umgehend blitzschnell ersetzt. Der Kundendienst war ist diesem Fall schnell und zuverlässig erreichbar. Wir Europäer können gerade sehr viel lernen zu guten und preiswerten Produkten und einem Top Kundenmanagement. Klare Empfehlung!

Following the YT fitting guide video, everything was super easy to fit and it fitted well (as if someone had designed it!?!)! The side frames and tail rack are well made and sturdy adding to the functionality of the system, fitting as described! My only query is about the 30L duffel and there were no and it appears nowhere to attach shoulder straps to make it into a backpack as demonstrated on the YT video about the system!?
All in all, very happy with the quality and finish of all the components, fanastic VFM! How durable it is, have to wait and see!

Excellent quality. The system is very easy to set up, attach and remove. The bags are very solid and fit our CF Moto Ibex 450 very well. Shipping to Canada was also very fast.
Honestly it’s a great kit with tons of options to strap and secure, but that’s exactly the reason for giving it 3 stars. There’s too many straps for my liking, there’s just so many tag ends to deal with, however I do see where that would be a plus for somebody. Also at one point one of the securing straps came loose and ended up in the rear tire and ripped it out of the saddle, west wind made it right with absolutely no hassle. Ship time took 4 weeks instead of the 10 days they said. Replacement saddle came faster though.

Gekauft - montiert - funktioniert.
Ich habe die KTM 390 Adv R als kleines Zweitmotorrad zu meiner BMW R 1300 GS gekauft. Als Gepäcklösung habe ich das Ranger Wilds - Enduro 80 für die KTM gewählt. Es ist dank der Videos einfach zu monieren und funktioniert tadellos. Es ist maximal praktikabel, schnell montiert und angepasst. Es ist absolut wasserdicht und robust. Die Möglichkeit eine Tasche auch als Rucksack zu verwenden ist cool. Die Lieferung war schnell (einige Tage nach Deutschland). Ein defektes Teil wurde umgehend blitzschnell ersetzt. Der Kundendienst war ist diesem Fall schnell und zuverlässig erreichbar. Wir Europäer können gerade sehr viel lernen zu guten und preiswerten Produkten und einem Top Kundenmanagement. Klare Empfehlung!

Following the YT fitting guide video, everything was super easy to fit and it fitted well (as if someone had designed it!?!)! The side frames and tail rack are well made and sturdy adding to the functionality of the system, fitting as described! My only query is about the 30L duffel and there were no and it appears nowhere to attach shoulder straps to make it into a backpack as demonstrated on the YT video about the system!?
All in all, very happy with the quality and finish of all the components, fanastic VFM! How durable it is, have to wait and see!

Excellent quality. The system is very easy to set up, attach and remove. The bags are very solid and fit our CF Moto Ibex 450 very well. Shipping to Canada was also very fast.
Honestly it’s a great kit with tons of options to strap and secure, but that’s exactly the reason for giving it 3 stars. There’s too many straps for my liking, there’s just so many tag ends to deal with, however I do see where that would be a plus for somebody. Also at one point one of the securing straps came loose and ended up in the rear tire and ripped it out of the saddle, west wind made it right with absolutely no hassle. Ship time took 4 weeks instead of the 10 days they said. Replacement saddle came faster though.
